Just got some great news, Dani was accepted to Missouri Valley! Now just hoping everything comes through on her volleyball scholarship.

Well, to start off I am currently living in Osage Beach at the Lake of the Ozarks. I have a condo with a magnificent view of the lake. Rent is amazingly cheap if you sign a 6 month lease but they are a bit small as they a really meant for weekenders. Things have been slow since it is off season, but it will pick up soon. I am kinda living off supermarket specials and whatever I can scrounge. Evan was here over Christmas and that was fantastic.

As many of you know last faire season was a bit of a rocky ride for me. Some health and personal issues kept it from being what it should have been. On the health side I knew for some time something was wrong but didn'y know exactly what. I just wasn't feeling good and was having tremendous pain and stiffness in my lower neck. As it turns out I had undiagnosed hypertension (high blood pressure). While I was first getting it under control with meds I had a few scary trips to the ER when it passed into the dangerous threshold. But I am doing better now. Being uninsured the hospital (they just had to run a cat scan), doctor and prescription costs have been a huge burden so hoping my finances turn around shortly.

As far as faire goes, things are up in the air a bit. I plan on doing some promos (the parades) but other than that it is uncertain. There are some smaller faires here I might participate in. Well anyway, I miss everyone and hope to see you all soon. -DQX
