Sorry to sound so discouraging but last night our much loved Husky-Shepherd Sebastion was killed. Tammy and Audrey are just devastated and I don't know what to do. Hard to see any light to the holidays this year.
My month-long sabbatical from RS is now over and I am again once connected to the internet. Latest news: We have moved to Rocky Mount which is still on the lake but now we have some room to move around, it is quiet and beautiful here in the country and like the feeling of living in a somewhat secluded area. We also just returned from Alabama for the Thanksgiving Holiday (btw, thanks for all the holiday wishes, it was a nice suprise upon my return). Next weekend I am heading to Noblesville to see my son for his 9th birthday! All in all everything is going good and we all are well and happy, more later. Good to be back.
Oh, what a tale of woe. My Fishers Ren Faire plans have been dashed, scattered, thrown to the wind. At the last minute before th planned trip my mom calls Thursday night to tell me she is getting out of rehab this weekend and needs me to help her get back into her house, OK I'll deal with it... but it will cause me to miss out on the best faire opportunity I have had all season to spend with my son who lives in Noblesville, IN. I even had bought some new garb for him. So, thoroughly disappointed and with a heartbroken 8 year old little boy I started to resign my self to my fate. But wait, talk to Mom again Saturday morning and said she made a mistake, they aren't letting her out yet.... ARRRRRGGGGHHH! Too late now! No way I can make the drive up there in time.
So, I guess now Evan's mom will be taking him to Fishers Sunday with her boyfriend's girls and I will be stuck waiting for word from Mom. Well, maybe next year :(.
